Brian D. Cook was born and raised in West Michigan and came from a very artistic and goal driven family. His love for photography stems from the passion he found for video in his early teens. During High School he was involved in the broadcast program at Mona Shores High school in Muskegon, Michigan for four years. It was during this time Brian decided that he wanted to go on to college to study film and editing. After High school Cook attended The Illinois Institute of Art Chicago for two years. Formal education has never been his thing, and he left school to pursue video on his own terms. In 2006, Cook moved back to west Michigan and began minor freelance jobs here and there. He eventually bought his own camera and a Mac G5 workstation with intentions of starting his own company.
A tiny Place was created in April of 2012 and is now over a year old. He created the idea in hopes of it being a home for himself, and all his art work, not just photography. In the coming years, he intends to bring in other artists to share in the dream that is A tiny Place.
